I grew up in Paris(no, not France but I do love the pause and looks I get when I'm asked!) in West Tennessee and found the love for a small town where you know everyone. Boating at Paris Landing in Kentucky Lake during my time at home still continues as now my own family boats and loves to spend time on the water. During college I met my husband Michael, we married when I finished student teaching and moved to Atlanta. I received my Early Childhood Education Degree in Kentucky from Murray State University in 1996 and found my 1st teaching job at Nancy Creek Theme School in Pre-K. I taught there for 4 wonderful years at which time Michael and I became parents of my oldest son. We moved here to Gallatin in 2000 and while being a stay at home mom I worked part time teaching Parents Day Out. During this time in our lives, we welcomed another son and daughter to complete our family of 5! In 2008, I began my teaching career again at BBE in Kindergarten and worked with a great team of teachers, after 2 years I moved to Union Elementary where I still teach today. All three of my children attended this great school and I love that I get the opportunity to work in Kindergarten here each year with an exceptional group of girls!!
